SANO DERMA Spot Ointment is a rich, anhydrous formula based on plant oils, beeswax, and ingredients supporting the hydrolipid barrier. Designed for spot application on areas requiring intensive lipid replenishment and protection.
How does SANO DERMA spot ointment work?
- Barrier protection and limiting water loss: Sunflower oil combined with beeswax creates an occlusive layer on the skin, protecting against external factors and limiting TEWL (Transepidermal Water Loss). This is crucial for flaking patches and cracking skin.
- Support for weakened skin: Tamanu oil and moringa oil support epidermal regeneration and improve elasticity. The addition of squalane (a biomimetic lipid) and MCT oil improves the tolerance of reactive skin and facilitates the spreading of the thick formula.
- Plant extracts: Extracts of milk thistle (an antioxidant) and fenugreek support skin comfort during flare-ups and inflammatory states.
- Hydration and regeneration: The formula is enriched with panthenol, allantoin, hyaluronic acid, and ectoin, which protect cells from environmental stress, soothe tension, and support the renewal process.
- Balance support: Tea tree oil and frankincense oil act in a purifying manner and support the care of problematic skin.
